Draft Grade — Raiders
Overall B-
ValueB- NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
Moore is the Raiders' new face under center. Grade: B-.

Start where it matters. The Raiders took Dante Moore to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. Getting Branch where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

Green has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Pick Analysis
Pick1 Rnd1 Dante Moore
In the 1st overall pick they get their quarterback of the future. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick33 Rnd2 Emmanuel Pregnon
No drama and no debate, Emmanuel Pregnon went about where he belonged in slot 33. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick65 Rnd3 Cayden Green
They liked Cayden Green enough to skip the value, taking him in No. 65. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick101 Rnd4 Harold Perkins Jr.
A straight-up fair deal on Harold Perkins Jr. at Round 4, Pick 1, value and slot in agreement. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick118 Rnd4 Bishop Fitzgerald
Nothing to complain about; Bishop Fitzgerald went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick136 Rnd4 Zachariah Branch
A quiet steal in pick No. 136: Zachariah Branch for less than the market said. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick175 Rnd5 Davison Igbinosun
No edge and no loss on Davison Igbinosun in the Round 5 slot; it is a wash and a sensible one. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick182 Rnd6 Albert Regis
Albert Regis at pick 182 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. It fills a real need, too.
Pick183 Rnd6 Duce Robinson
They paid sticker price for Duce Robinson in Round 6, Pick 2, and that is fine. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick217 Rnd7 Lee Hunter
Lee Hunter at pick 217 is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the interior defensive lineman. The roster fit checks out.
