You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Chiefs did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. Landing Kilgore that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
