You can draft well and still miss the point. The Chiefs did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to tight end, which was the need that mattered most.

They are betting Tiernan proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
