The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Chiefs watched Jihaad Campbell slide 28 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

The Brown pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer. On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
