The board owed the Chiefs one, and it paid up: Cameron Williams, the No. 70 name on the board, sitting there at pick 95 like a gift left on the doorstep. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

They will regret leaving wide receiver for another day if the season turns on it. If Brown pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.
