King should have been long gone. The 49ers pounced, and earned a A-.

When a board-topper like Kobe King slides to Round 6, Pick 26, you do not overthink it, and the 49ers did not. Just about everything broke right, and the A- follows.

They will need Jones to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The phones were where this weekend was really won. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Add it up and this is about as clean as a draft weekend gets.
