The Browns robbed the room for McAlister. Final grade: B.

Whoever sat across the table from the Browns should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. No fireworks, but a solid B.

On value alone, McAlister makes the weekend a net positive. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.

Freeling has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The Maxx Crosby pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
