A mixed bag for the Panthers, and a C+ to match.

The tape said wait; the Panthers did not. Tyler Batty went at the Round 4 slot, a good 113 picks before the board was ready.

That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. A whole weekend of picks and offensive lineman is somehow still a want.

Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

A perfectly average weekend, for better and for worse.
