The Falcons fleeced the room on the phones and earned a B. The real work happened on the phones. The Falcons fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with. The bottom line is a respectable B.
That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.
Reaching for Davis left real value on the table behind him. Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
