The Falcons drew a line under the quarterback search with Daniels: F.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Falcons shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. The board sounded every alarm, and the F is the fallout.

Whatever Jayden Daniels becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer. A whole weekend of picks and offensive lineman is somehow still a want. They will need Polk to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Landing Burton that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.

About as rough as a weekend gets on paper, with offensive lineman still staring back at them.
