A sensible, unshowy class lands the Falcons a B-.

Nobody had Nick Barrett this high, and it is not close. The Falcons reached 25 spots to get him at the Round 7 slot. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Getting Pregnon where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with offensive lineman the one that mattered most.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
