They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Drake Maye is the Falcons' quarterback, full stop. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

They banked enough surplus on Jackson to cover a lot of smaller sins. If Speights pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

They will regret leaving wide receiver for another day if the season turns on it.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
