The Falcons lost the trade table, and the D- tells the story.

It is the swing that defines the weekend: Erick All in pick No. 169, a good 34 spots before the room expected him.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. The Melton pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback and running back still on the board.

The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They banked enough surplus on Robinson to cover a lot of smaller sins.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
