The Falcons went off-script early, and it cost them a F.

If confidence were a draft strategy, the Falcons would have aced it. Jahfari Harvey at slot 190 is 270 spots clear of where he belonged.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. However the rest shakes out, Mafah at that price is a win they earned.

They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.

The verdict is harsh because the weekend was, and there is little to argue.
