Overall B+
ValueA NeedB TradesA- FutureB-
Best value of the weekend goes to the Falcons for Muhammad: B+.

Somebody in Round 5, Pick 21 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Falcons sat still while Jabbar Muhammad, the No. 31 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same.

The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.

Pick Analysis
Pick33 Rnd2 Harold Perkins Jr.
Harold Perkins Jr. in Round 2, Pick 1 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick36 Rnd2 Mykel Williams
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Mykel Williams at No. 36. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick52 Rnd2 Jack Sawyer
A top-tier edge rusher at a bargain, Jack Sawyer in the 52nd overall pick, plain and simple. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick85 Rnd3 Tez Johnson
Taking Tez Johnson in pick No. 85 is close to grand larceny; a wide receiver that good had no business lasting this long. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick117 Rnd4 Ajani Cornelius
A offensive lineman of that caliber at the Round 4 slot is the definition of value, full stop. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick149 Rnd5 Jabbar Muhammad
They robbed the room for Jabbar Muhammad here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. A minor need, but a need all the same.
