Draft Grade — Falcons
Overall B
ValueB- NeedB+ TradesB- FutureB-
The Falcons answered their biggest question with Daniels. Grade: B.

They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Tahj Washington, 107 picks early at Round 7, Pick 24. No fireworks, but a solid B.

Jayden Daniels gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.

Pick Analysis
Pick8 Rnd1 Jayden Daniels
In Round 1, Pick 8 they get the face of the franchise. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick43 Rnd2 Xavier Worthy
By-the-book stuff, Xavier Worthy at pick No. 43 squarely in line with his ranking. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick74 Rnd3 Javon Bullard
Javon Bullard in slot 74 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick109 Rnd4 Dominick Puni
Nothing to complain about; Dominick Puni went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick145 Rnd5 Kamal Hadden
Kamal Hadden at the 145th overall pick is money in the bank, a cornerback taken below his worth. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick189 Rnd6 Christian Jones
Christian Jones at the Round 6 slot is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick201 Rnd6 Braiden McGregor
Braiden McGregor at the 201st overall pick nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick244 Rnd7 Tahj Washington
Tahj Washington in the 244th pick is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
