The trade table was where it all came apart. The Falcons shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill.

The whole projection now runs through Jayden Daniels; hit there and everything else looks smarter. McConkey has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Leaving offensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.

About as rough as a weekend gets on paper, with offensive lineman still staring back at them.
