They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Drake Maye is the Falcons' quarterback, full stop. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

Walker at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
