The trade table was a mismatch, and the Falcons were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped offensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. Spending an early pick on cornerback with offensive lineman, running back and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. If Brade pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

Adding Kevin Byard by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the offensive lineman spot they never got to.
