After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Falcons committed. J.J. McCarthy is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. It nets out to a B+, which feels about right.

For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain. Spending an early pick on cornerback with running back, tight end and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. They are betting Rosengarten proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

The Tariq Woolen pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.
