Draft Grade — Browns
Overall A-
ValueA- NeedB TradesA+ FutureA
Best value of the weekend goes to the Browns for Bassa: A-.

The board owed the Browns one, and it paid up: Jeffrey Bassa, the No. 130 name on the board, sitting there at Round 7, Pick 39 like a gift left on the doorstep. Very little went wrong, and the A- is earned.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Ikem Ekwonu gives the group a proven body among the projects.

They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Mason Graham and all.

Pick Analysis
Pick8 Rnd1 Mason Graham
In the Round 1 slot they get a load in the middle. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick33 Rnd2 Emeka Egbuka
Emeka Egbuka at pick No. 33 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick57 Rnd2 Harold Fannin Jr.
They did well to land Harold Fannin Jr. in the 57th pick, just ahead of his grade. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick67 Rnd3 TreVeyon Henderson
TreVeyon Henderson is a better player than the 67th overall pick suggests; smart patience, rewarded. The roster fit checks out.
Pick74 Rnd3 Quinshon Judkins
Quinshon Judkins in slot 74 lands just on the right side of the ledger. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick94 Rnd3 Jihaad Campbell
Jihaad Campbell at pick 94 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick103 Rnd4 Xavier Watts
The board fumbled Xavier Watts all the way to No. 103, and they scooped it up. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick165 Rnd5 Jake Majors
Steal is underselling it; Jake Majors at Round 5, Pick 26 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick181 Rnd6 Barrett Carter
A top-tier linebacker at a bargain, Barrett Carter in Round 6, Pick 3, plain and simple. They doubled down on a strength rather than a need.
Pick194 Rnd6 Cody Simon
Cody Simon in No. 194 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. A luxury on a unit that was already in good shape.
Pick202 Rnd6 Joshua Gray
Somehow Joshua Gray was still sitting there in pick No. 202, and they pounced on premier offensive lineman value. It fills a real need, too.
Pick216 Rnd6 Addison West
The board had Addison West higher than the 216th overall pick, and the offensive lineman fell to them anyway. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick217 Rnd6 Cam Skattebo
A running back of that caliber at pick 217 is the definition of value, full stop. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick257 Rnd7 Jeffrey Bassa
They will replay Jeffrey Bassa at the Round 7 slot for years; that is how good the value is. Stacking talent where they were already deep.
