The war room fell hard for Barryn Sorrell, and it showed at No. 189: 126 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas.

That Williams pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They will regret leaving tight end for another day if the season turns on it.

A small leak at the table, if not a fatal one. The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.

So much rides on Josh Conerly Jr. that the real verdict is a season or two away.
