After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Buccaneers committed. Shedeur Sanders is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.

Reaching for Edwards left real value on the table behind him. They banked enough surplus on Sanders to cover a lot of smaller sins. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with offensive lineman the one that mattered most.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
