Larceny in Round 7, Pick 18 lands the Cowboys a B, Monangai and all.

Somebody in pick No. 234 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Cowboys sat still while Kyle Monangai, the No. 211 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up. The Simpkins III pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
