The Broncos worked the phones like thieves and earned a B. Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Broncos came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.
The Taylor III pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. The Jones pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.
Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
