The Texans did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Tahj Brooks fell into Round 7, Pick 20. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

The Broughton pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. For all the activity, wide receiver went untouched, which is hard to explain. Running back was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
