The Packers did not so much draft Jackson Slater as overpay for him, 28 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend.

Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Landing Morrison that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
