A sensible, unshowy class lands the Lions a B-.

It is the swing that defines the weekend: Ahmed Hassanein in pick 196, a good 50 spots before the room expected him. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

Leaving safety unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but safety.
