Sanders should have been long gone. The Falcons pounced, and earned a B-.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Raheim Sanders tumbling to the Falcons in Round 7, Pick 2 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

Leaving offensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Every board in the league had Green lower, and that gap is the story.

On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but offensive lineman.

In pick 15 they get a premier pass rusher, though they paid up to get him. A real need, handled.
Pick46 Rnd2 Nic Scourton
Nic Scourton at No. 46 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.

Taking Tai Felton in the Round 4 slot is close to grand larceny; a wide receiver that good had no business lasting this long. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.

Raheim Sanders in the 218th pick is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick242 Rnd7 Shemar James
A market-rate linebacker, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Shemar James. The roster fit checks out.
