The Chargers checked most of the boxes and earned a B-.

The Fadil Diggs pick is the one that will follow the Chargers into the fall. They took him 34 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

Getting Gordon II where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 7 of 8 of the wish list covered. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
