The board owed the Cardinals one, and it paid up: Caleb Banks, the No. 42 name on the board, sitting there at slot 104 like a gift left on the doorstep. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

That running back hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They left with quarterback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
