The war room fell hard for Anthony Lucas, and it showed at pick 54: 36 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas.

For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. However the rest shakes out, Branch at that price is a win they earned. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
