After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Browns committed. Ty Simpson is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

They banked enough surplus on Rivers to cover a lot of smaller sins. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
