It is the swing that defines the weekend: Quinn Carroll in the 206th pick, a good 50 spots before the room expected him.

That Sampson pick is the receipt they will wave around later. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. The veteran additions, T.J. Hockenson chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

Add it up and this is about as clean as a draft weekend gets.
