That Starks pick is the receipt they will wave around later. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.

Jayden Higgins at No. 50 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.

You do not let a safety like Malaki Starks reach slot 52 and blink. They did not. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.

A reach on Charles Grant in the 82nd overall pick; the board had better options right there. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.

Cobee Bryant at pick No. 92 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
