The board owed the Colts one, and it paid up: Dwight McGlothern, the No. 161 name on the board, sitting there at slot 191 like a gift left on the doorstep. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

If Boyd pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
