When a board-topper like Kevin Winston Jr. slides to slot 138, you do not overthink it, and the 49ers did not.

If Pegues pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. They were the ones paying the moving tax this weekend.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
