Cephus should have been long gone. The Chiefs pounced, and earned a B+.

The real work happened on the phones. The Chiefs fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with. It does the job without flash, and the B+ reflects it.

On value alone, Cephus makes the weekend a net positive. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. Spending an early pick on DT-EDGE with quarterback open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
