Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Chiefs never addressed quarterback, and it is the kind of gap that lingers.

That Abrams-Draine pick is the receipt they will wave around later. Every board in the league had Jefferson lower, and that gap is the story.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
