The Chiefs turned the phones into found money: B. There is conviction, and then there is this. The Chiefs took Luke McCaffrey a full 39 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend.
The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. However the rest shakes out, Pritchett at that price is a win they earned.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman. The Smith pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at interior defensive lineman.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
