FOXY KNOXY DRAFTING FOR THESeahawks
Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall
B
ValueB+
NeedB-
TradesB-
FutureB-
The Seahawks did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B. The Seahawks' one glaring miss is edge rusher, a need they left exactly as they found it. Good, not great, and the B says as much.
The Terrell pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 3 of 8 of the wish list covered. The back end got a real overhaul.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
Pick Analysis
Pick32
Rnd1
Avieon Terrell
In the Round 1 slot they get a press-man option on the boundary at a price that makes it sweeter. Need was not the driver here.
Pick64
Rnd2
Gennings Dunker
Gennings Dunker is a better player than the 64th pick suggests; smart patience, rewarded. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick96
Rnd3
Kaytron Allen
No edge and no loss on Kaytron Allen in the 96th overall pick; it is a wash and a sensible one. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick211
Rnd6
Zxavian Harris
Zxavian Harris in pick No. 211 is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
