Thirty-one other rooms let Nick Emmanwori slide, and the Buccaneers were the ones holding the card at the 53rd pick. Highway robbery. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

Thornton Jr. has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
