Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Steelers spent pick 30 on Kingsley Suamataia, a name most had 31 spots down the list.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. The Van Pran pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at quarterback, safety and other spots.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Melton.
