It is a puzzling start. The Steelers had quarterback, running back and other spots to solve and reached instead for Zach Frazier, an offensive lineman, at pick 51.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. The Frazier pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. On the needs board they went 6 of 9, with interior defensive lineman the one that mattered most.

The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
