Nobody dealt better than the Steelers this weekend: B+. You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Steelers did exactly that with Cornelius Johnson in pick 250. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B+.
The phones were where this weekend was really won. The Jones pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
The Barton pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with edge rusher and tight end still on the board.
Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
