Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Chase Roberts got past him. The Cardinals do not have to explain a thing at pick No. 156. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

They will need Siereveld to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

They went 5 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
