The tape said wait; the Bengals did not. Charles Jagusah went at No. 57, a good 51 picks before the board was ready. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Cook II.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
