Dixon should have been long gone. The Eagles pounced, and earned a B.

Somebody in the 210th overall pick was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Eagles sat still while Johnny Dixon, the No. 190 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. They will need Jefferson to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
