The Eagles let Mondon Jr. fall and pounced. Final grade: B.

The Eagles spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Smael Mondon Jr., the No. 110 name on the board, in the Round 4 slot. The bottom line is a respectable B.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. They are betting Nelson proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
