The war room fell hard for Spencer Rattler, and it showed at the Round 3 slot: 48 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas.

However the rest shakes out, Rouse at that price is a win they earned. On the needs board they went 9 of 9, with interior defensive lineman the one that mattered most. Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same.

The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
